Women fatally shot outside Hammond bar…

On November 24, 2019, Katelyn was hanging out at Coaches Corner. She was standing outside talking with an associate when Steven Maurice Todd exited the bar and bumped into her as a result a heated argument erupted between Katelyn and Steven. Steven walked away from Katelyn while continuously verbalizing loud disrespect about her. She followed Steven’s path to a car defending herself against his remarks. Steven got in a car, rolled down the passenger side window, shot Katelyn, and drove off leaving her for dead.

On June 18, 2021, justice was served, and Steven Todd was determined guilty for the murder of Katelyn. He received 12 years, but those 12 years will never be enough to bring Katelyn back to us.
